| The
Greater Waterbury Health Network
is a growing, evolving family of health care services dedicated to
meeting the changing health care needs of our region.
Waterbury Hospital Health Center
forms the cornerstone of the Greater Waterbury Health Network. It is
accredited by The Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare
Organizations. Waterbury Hospital is a not-for-profit, acute care teaching
hospital offering complete inpatient and outpatient services.
Several
community-based, outpatient services are part of The Greater
Waterbury Health Network. They are dedicated to meeting the changing
needs of patients, physicians' offices and skilled nursing
facilities. From nursing care, Hospice, imaging, oncology and
laboratory services, the network extends hospital-quality care to
settings as diverse as an outpatient office setting, home and
skilled nursing facilities.
The Network also
features the region's largest, most comprehensive outpatient center
for physical, occupational and speech therapy.
As the health care needs of the community change,
The
Greater Waterbury Health Network
continues to evolve and grow to meet those needs in the most
appropriate settings.
