Waterbury Hospital Employees Receive “Golden Attitude”
Awards
WATERBURY – Six
employees at Waterbury Hospital will be recognized for
consistently exhibiting a positive and friendly attitude
on the job during a May 6 ceremony at Waterbury Hospital
in which they will each receive the hospital’s “Golden
Attitude” Award.
The Golden Attitude Awards are
given out to Waterbury Hospital employees who have a
strong record of service excellence, teamwork and
dependability on the job. They are nominated and chosen
for the award by fellow employees. The winners will be
recognized at the upcoming ceremony and by having their
names printed on plaques hanging outside the hospital
cafeteria.
“We feel it is important to
recognize those who make such a positive impact in our
work environment,” said Kathy Mulston, the hospital’s
Vice President for Human Resources. “These employees set
a good example and make the work experience more
enjoyable for everyone.”
The 2010 Golden Attitude Award
winners are:
--Lydia Capuano, a clerical
assistant in the Behavioral Services/Geropsychiatry
Department.
--Kendra Damon-Smith, RN, a
nurse in the Critical Care Department.
--David Dugan, a porter in
the Building Services Department.
--Rana Lokites, a film file
clerk in the Diagnostic Radiology Department.
--Edward Lucas, a staff
pharmacist in the Pharmacy Department.
--Brenda Nichols, a senior
clinical informatics analyst in the Information Services
Department.
